Peggy….was saddened to hear of the loss of Gary.  Sorry we lost touch over the years. Still think fondly of our time as neighbors and co-workers in Corinth. Our condolences to you & family.

I just heard about Gary's passing.  My heart is very heavy today.  He was a great friend and boss to me.  

I have thought about you two many times over the years and wondered where retirem
ent had taken you.  Rich and I moved to Nashville 12 years ago and both my girls live here.  

I know you will miss him terribly.  He is gone way to soon.

Peggy, Julie & Rodd - I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Gary as a genuine, caring,  fun-loving man. I have a ton of great, indelible memories involving the Willis (& Saupe) families. I'm so sorry to have missed the funeral.  I wish each of you all the comfort and peace possible in this difficult time.

Gary was my first boss as a pipefitter apprentice at Cat.  He taught me how to be a responsible, active contributor in a factory work force. A couple years later Gary was promoted to supervisor of the pipefitter apprentice training shop.  I had the pleasure of being assigned to help Gary as his assistant, as one of my apprenticeship office  stations.  Later in my career at Cat, a few years after graduating from the apprentice course, I had become an apprentice instructor and again I had Gary as a supervisor.  Gary had become the person I looked to as a model of the ideal leader and coworker.  Gary was a strong leader while displaying kindness and humility.  I have been given many compliments over the years as a trainer.  I would not have been a quality trainer without what I learned from Gary Willis.  The world is going to be a little wonderful without Gary Willis.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Gary’s family and I’m so sorry for your loss. 
Rhonda and I were friends in high school and I knew Gary then. He was fun, athletic, cute and genuinely nice. Heaven must have needed an other player for their team and Gary answered the call. I know he will be missed by many here on earth.

We just heard about Gary and are so sorry for your loss. Gary was one of the first people we met in Riverbend many years ago when we would bring our kids down to visit their grandparents. Gary greeted us with kindness and always made us feel welcome. A few years later after we retired we bought a place at Riverbend. We became good friends with Gary and Peggy. 
Whether it was our daily time in the pool, playing cards, attending concerts and dances at the club house, Gary always made us feel a part of the Riverbend family. Gary had a great sense of humor, had great stories to share, and was a great listener. We know he had many successes in his life and feel so blessed to be part of his journey. We will never think of our time at Riverbend without thinking of Gary. Wishing you Peace. 🙏💔🙏

So sorry to learn of Gary's passing.  Condolences to his family.  I only knew Gary for a brief time-he was a loyal friend and a fierce competitor.  He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss Peggy, Julie and Rodd. Gary was so much fun. Great laugh and smile. I know my dad loved him and their friendship. I smile imagining Gary’s reunion with Wayne and the antics they  will pull after their Heavenly reunion. Prayers for peace in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing.  When reminiscing about our high school days and shenanigans of Class of 66, he would have that great smile on his face and always add a “do you remember when…”. 
Most of the time it was about a basketball or baseball game or some joke the guys had played on one another.  He was a good guy and friendly to all.  My thoughts are with you, Peggy, and the rest of your family.

I was sorry to hear of Gary's passing.   I worked at Caterpillar with Gary for many years.  Gary was always pleasant and cheerful  co-worker.  I want to pass on my sincere condolences and prayers for his family.   Gary will be missed.
