She was born Oct. 24, 1934 in Springfield to Ralph V. and Edna Fay (Murray) Smith. She married Edward J. Allison Aug. 9, 1952 in Peoria. He passed away Sep. 11, 1994 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Smith and one sister, Eulalia Smith.
Survivors include four children: Ralph (Linda) Allison of Peoria, Caron (Charles) Boland of Peoria (with whom Georgia made her home), William (Audrey) Allison of Vandalia, Darla (Gary) Jones of Peoria, eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grand and step-great-grandchildren, two sisters; Helen Gardner of Peoria, Sharon (Duane) Batterton of Stanford, Il, and two brothers: Paul (Janie) Smith of Bartonville, William (Pat) Smith of Peoria.
Georgia was an avid Bingo and Bunco player.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be at a later date. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
