Geraldine Hagemann

Geraldine (Geri) M. Hagemann Peoria, IL Geraldine (Geri) M. Hagemann, 85, of Peoria, passed away at 8:07 pm Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.  She was born April 28, 1927 in Peoria, IL to Julia (Steigler) and Henry H. Hagemann. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Josephine (Steigler) Hagemann, brother, Donald Hagemann, sister, Doris Ruble and one nephew, Thomas Rudloff.  Surviving are one sister, Delores Rudloff, niece, Pamela (Earl) Swanson, nephew Robert Ruble, niece, Sharon Rudloff, several great-nephews and nieces and one sister-in-law, Bernadine Hagemann.  Geri was employed for 45 years at First National Bank, becoming its last retiree in 1992. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement years traveling with friends and relatives wherever she was invited, as well as exploring her native Peoria. Geri will be remembered for always being on the go and her love of spoiling her family.  The family wishes to convey its gratitude to her friends and wonderful staff at Bickford House, as well as to the compassionate team at Proctor Hospital.  A funeral service will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Peoria, Father Christopher Layden will officiate.
