Greg Oberlander

Greg was born January 27, 1952 in Peoria to Wayne and Janice (Miller) Oberlander. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joni (Newton) and his first wife, Pat (Hounihan) Fagerburg of Peoria, along with his step-mother, Joyce Oberlander of Florida, two children: Sean Oberlander of Denver, CO, Stephanie (Scott) Kalis of Virginia Beach, VA, two step-children: Chais Carter of Peoria, Ian Carter of Wyoming, IL., three grandchildren: Skye Kalis, Soleil Kalis, and Dylan Carter. He is also survived by two brothers: Doug (Karen) Oberlander of Peoria, Dan (MaryBeth) Oberlander of Frederick, MD, and one sister, Ruth (Gary) Coonan of Tennessee. And 5 nieces including Jennifer (Monte) Mathews and Jenelle Gray of Peoria. And 7 great nieces and nephews.

Greg owned and operated Oberlander Alarm Systems, Inc. for 32 years. Greg loved spending time with family and friends at Lake Bloomington, skiing in Colorado, and boating in Florida. He also loved live music, sports, going to restaurants and traveling to Las Vegas.

Visitation will be Sunday March 23, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Funeral services will be Monday March 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
