Harry T Mcclure

He was born June 3, 1926 in Eureka, IL to Orville and Lois (Sutton) McClure. He married Jean M Seipel on December 30, 1955 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on December 30, 1994. He later married Janet Fox in 2000 and she preceded him in death in 2017. Also preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Donald and Kaywin McClure and one sister, Audry Trumbold.

Surviving are six children, Mike (Jane Lohmar) McClure of Chicago, Patrick McClure of Peoria, Debra Duke of Houma, LA, Lois Needham of Peoria, Christine (Eric) Eckert of Atlanta, IL and Teresa McClure of Peoria. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Harry served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946 serving in the South Pacific. He graduated from Eureka College and worked in Marketing for Caterpillar Inc. for over 32 years before retiring in 1988. Harry enjoyed fishing, camping and swimming. He also loved to draw and gardening with his wife.

Cremation will be accorded and a burial of the urn will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria at a later date. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
