Howard Harold Hendricks

Howard "Howie" Harold Hendricks, 74, of Bellevue passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home.

He was born August 9, 1947 in Peoria to William and Zelma (Knudson) Hendricks. He married Patricia Maddox on December 31, 1979 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are six children: Jamie Hendricks, Tammy Jirjis, Debbie Hendricks, Crystal (Chad) Murphy, Brian Hendricks, and Susan Gauwitz; eight grandchildren: David Jennings, Daniel Jennings, Alex Murphy, Joshua Jirjis, Ashley Jirjis, Katilin Gauwitz, Hayden Hendricks, and Austin Gauwitz; three great-grandchildren: Adilynn Jennings, Jacqueline Jirjis, and Carson Davis; and his beloved dog, Jordan.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and three sisters.

Howard served in the U.S. Army and then worked for caterpillar for over 32 years retiring in 2006. Howard loved to watch wrestling, had a passion for cars, and enjoyed working on them. He will be remembered for his generous heart and willingness to help others. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.

Cremation will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
