He was born on September 22, 1929, to George H. and Pearl (Sheber) Royster in Peoria, IL.
Jack served in the United States Army for four years and after his military service worked in maintenance with School District 150. He worked there for many years and eventually retired.
Jack was known to be a soft spoken, gentle man. He enjoyed working on cars with his nephew.
He is survived by his siblings, Rosemary Hulse, Shirley Campbell, and Donna Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded by his parents; and his siblings, Ruth Royster, Ruby Anastassi, and Norma Jean Ballard.
A Graveside Service for Jack will be held on April 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, IL.
