

He was born January 9, 1954 in Streator, IL to Boyd Fraser and Helen Brooks (Cressey) Goldsworthy. He married Janet Warnke on August 5, 1989. She survives.
Also surviving are their two daughters, Kayla Brooks Null of Hopedale and Kendra Ann (Derek) Prebula of Polo, IL. and four grandchildren, Kortland James Null, Riley Ann Prebula, Kylie Marie Prebula, and Ryker Edward Null.
He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd Fraser Goldsworthy and his mother, Helen Brooks Cressy Goldsworthy Campbell.
James attended the University of Wisconsin and owned his own business, Oh James Handyman Service, for many years in the Peoria Area. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Peoria and enjoyed gardening, working on "The Property", telling stories, hunting, the outdoors, and his dog Cookie. James was also an avid collector of Antique oil lamps and loved to fly kites.
Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Open House will be from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his on home, 426 S. Pinkerton Rd., Hanna City, IL 61536. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
