James "Jim" Paul Angles Jr, 82, of Peoria, IL, passed away on April 25, 2025 at his residence. Jim was born on September 29, 1942 in Chillicothe, OH, to James Paul Angles Sr. and Garnet "Blanche" Davis.
Jim married Barbara Clark on June 27, 1964 in Centralia, IL. She preceded him in death in 2015. Left to cherish Jim's memory is his loving family, son, Michael Angles; daughter, Jenny Doerr; granddaughter, Joanna Doerr; brother, Robert Angles; sister-in-law, Valerie Angles of Centralia, IL; brother-in-law, James (Nancy) of Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Jim graduated from Centralia High School in 1960 and went on to attend the University of Illinois, class of 1965. He retired from Prairie Farms in Peoria and was a member of First Christian Church in Peoria.
Cremation has been accorded. A burial will take place at a future time at Mt. Catherine Cemetery in Woodlawn, IL. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
