He was born July 23, 1936 in Peoria, IL.
Surviving are, his two daughters: Cindy (John) Grasso of Spokane, WA, Kathy (Michael) Fladland of Portland, OR., his two sons; Mike (Bernice) Manning of West Covina, CA., Steve (Kari) Manning of Colbert, WA., four grandsons, 2 granddaughters, one sister Agnus (Fred) Teufel of Peoria, IL., one brother Bill (Terry) Remington of Peoria, IL. and several nieces and nephews in Spokane, WA., and the Peoria area.
James was a carpenter working for many years for Spokane County. He also proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for over 22 years.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 10:30am at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, Peoria, IL. Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Peoria, IL.
