Jean L. Horn, 83, of Marquette Heights, IL passed away Friday February 18, 2011. She was born July 22, 1927 in Peoria, IL to Clarence and Lucille Giebelhausen Reed. Jean married Charles Horn on July 3, 1949 in Peoria.
Surviving is her daughter Patricia (Dan) Schmidgall of Groveland, IL, son Charles (Margie) Horn of Peoria, IL, daughter Jacqueline (Michael) Rothschild-Massa of Chicago, IL, and daughter Marilyn (Larry) Peak of Bloomington, IL. Also surviving are Jean’s grandchildren, great grandchildren and her brother Dave Reed and Vickie of East Peoria, IL. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Clarence Reed and sister Betty Agans.
Jean graduated from Brown’s Business College in Peoria early in her career. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Jean was also a member of First Assembly of God church in Peoria.
