Joan Clancy

She was born on June 18, 1931 in Gravity, IA to Charles and Electa (Warner) Ledgerwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Surviving are her five children, Michael Percefull of Florida, Lecta Percefull of Peoria, Nina Percefull of Pekin, Ron Clancy of California and Don Clancy of Bath. Also surviving is one sister, Carol Boyer of Peoria, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Joan worked for over 30 years for the County Highway Dept. and was the Business Manager when she retired in 2003. She attended Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Joan was a charter memberof the Sweet Adeline’s and a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church Choir and sang with both for over 30 years. She was invited to sing at The Crystal Cathedral in California, visited Austria with the Sweet Adeline’s and enjoyed picnics on Grandview Dr.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. The Rev. Linda McKinney will officiate.
