Born August 20, 1941 in Rapid City, SD to Frank and Elsie Gale; he married Judy Kisner Hill on March 31, 1995 and she survives.
Also surviving are his sons, Frank Gale of Kewanee, IL and Tom (Cherylann) Gale of Boise, ID; step-daughters, Deanna (Dan) Monk of Wasilla, AK and Judy (Neil) Swanke of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Isabella and Calvin Gale and Dawson Monk; sister, Kathella Hachez of Conway, SC; and brother, Fred Gale of Bentonville, VA.
John was a computer programmer enjoying a 35 year career between the companies of RLI and Honeywell.
He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
John will be remembered as wonderful husband who put his family first.
He enjoyed woodworking and made many pieces of furniture for the family home.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Grace Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Hopwood officiating. Cremation was accorded by Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home with private inurnment at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
