Jonathan "Jon" Joel Cummings

Jonathan "Jon" Joel Cummings, 71, of Peoria, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Peoria. Jon was born September 19, 1950 in Waterloo, IA to John and Lavonna (Greene) Cummings. He married Brenda Carter. She survives. Also surviving is their daughter, Saundra (Herb) Henning of Florida; a grandchild, Sydney Henning of Oregon; and three siblings, Randal Cummings of Texas, Pat (Errol) Overkamp of IA, and Annette (Marvin) Deitz of CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-brother Dale Schrage. Jon worked as a Roofer for River City Roofing as well as several other roofing companies through his career. He enjoyed bird watching, lifting weights and playing horseshoes. Cremation will be accorded and Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
