She was born April 7, 1943 in Louisville, KY to Henry Estel and Elsie (Strong) Ray. She married John Sheaffer on March 20, 1963 in Peoria. He survives along with two sons: John (Angie) Sheaffer, Jr of Benson, Scott Sheaffer, three grandchildren: Anthony Sheaffer, Zachary Sheaffer, Amber Vicary-Mcgar, three great grandchildren: Damian, Brayden, and Sophie, and one sister, Beverly Jean Knight of Norwood Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Don, Mickey, and John Miller, and three sisters: Barbara Wright, Cookie Harris, and Dorothy Rogers.
Judy was a member of El Vista Baptist Church in Peoria.
Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at El Vista Baptist Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at church. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois Cancer Center on Rt. 91.
