Kevin P. Brophy

A 1973 graduate of Manual High School, he worked at Construction Materials pouring concrete and also at Caterpillar, where he retired after 30 years of employment. When he was younger, he loved fishing, hunting, and working on cars. He thoroughly loved motorcycles and his dogs. He was proud of his home and worked endlessly in his yard. Kevin loved to talk, especially about his days at CAT.

Kevin is survived by his six daughters: Angela Brophy of Peoria, IL; Tiffany Brophy of Kansas City, MO; twins Karen and Kelly Brophy of Des Moines, IA; twins Kourtni (Brett) Carlson and Kacie (Michael) Moore of Galesburg, IL; five grandchildren: Tavion, Jashawn, Remi, Summer, and Bryant; six siblings: Alice, Bernie, Greg, Barb Brooks, Terry, and Mary Beth along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kevin was blessed with a large and loving family who will dearly miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
