

He was born March 21, 1945 in Peoria to Clinton J. and Nellie E. (Simmons) McIntyre. They preceded him in death along with one step-son, Buddy Barry, two sisters: Barbara A. Cathy, Virginia L. Graham, and three brothers: Donald R., Fonis E., and William F. McIntyre.
Larry is leaving to cherish his memories, the love of his life, Bonnie Scudder, along with a step-son, Bobby (Jeni) Scudder of Bartonville, one sister, Brenda K. (Steve) Dowdell of Dunlap, one brother, Wallace D. ( Wylene) McIntyre of Buckatunna, MS. He is also survived by two grandsons: Alex and Robbie Scudder, two granddaughters: Skyra Scudder and Carly J. Barry, one great-grandson, Kyler, other family members: Lynn (Nollan) Harwood, Nancy (Robert) Jones, Tammy Barry, Penny Barry, and many nieces and nephews.
He was of the Baptist faith, and always knew how to make someone smile.
Larry worked for George A. Zeller Zone Mental Health Center for many years. He was an avid pool player in the Peoria area for most of his life. He also played music in the early days. He always left a huge impact on everyone that he met. Larry will be missed by everyone who knew him.
“Larry, I have a lot of wonderful memories of the two of us. You will be in my heart forever; you always made me laugh whenever we were together, and even when we weren’t together. Don’t ever forget how much I love you and I’ll miss you”, your baby sister.
Funeral services will be Friday April 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Pastor Nolan Harwood will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services on Friday.
