

Jeannine was born on August 1, 1964, in Rock Island, to John B. DeWeese and Geneva L. DeWeese. They preceded her in death, along with a brother, John D. DeWeese, a sister, Roxanne Mitchell, a godson, Donnie Allen, 2 nephews, Joshua DeWeese and Justin DeWeese, and a niece, Kenshawna DeWeese.
Jeannine leaves behind a loving daughter, Melody Redell, 2 grandsons, Joshua Webster, and Jeremiah Wells, a granddaughter, Justis DeWeese, a goddaughter, Nikki Hughes (Micah), 5 godchildren, one brother, Curtis DeWeese Sr., several nieces and nephews including Curtis (“Curtman”) DeWeese Jr., Melissa Logan, a sister-in-law, Kim DeWeese, a brother-in-law, Fred Mitchell, a lifelong very special friend, Pam “Beef” Rindfleisch, and a special friend Theresa Hinthorn.
Jeannine loved her family very much. Her favorite things to do included attending family gatherings and watching her grandkids play sports. She was so proud of them and she told everyone! She loved playing games on her computer. She liked going to listen to local bands at a bar, enjoying a cold Bud Light. In her early years, she loved spending time on the family carnival. She was an avid Chicago Bears & Cubs fan. She was previously employed by UFS savings center for over 20 years before her health stopped her from working in 2017.
Jeannine was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting her. She will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral services for Jeannine will be held at 2:00pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
