Lester "Pops" Earl Massey

He was born on December 7, 1961, in Peoria to Lester Earl and Pearl Elizabeth (Peacher) Massey. Lester spent his career in the construction industry. He enjoyed a good beer, and spending time with his children, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and several siblings.

Surviving are his children, Lester (Kayla) Massey, Jr., Carrie (Curtis) Halverson, Robert (Mary) Massey, and Michael Massey; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Chester Massey, Louise Hartsock, Sharon (Rev. Dennis) Fitzgerald, and Grant (Rose) Hartsock; and former spouse, and mother of his children, Tina Massey.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Brett, Sam, Tina, Iney, and his nieces, Debra and Melody for the loving care shown to Lester in his final days.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel with burial to follow at Parkview Cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Massey Family. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
