

Lloyd P. Schlosser, age 85, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at 11:45 a.m. at his home. Lloyd was born on Nov. 21, 1931 in Henry to Lloyd O. and Dorothy M. (Arnold) Schlosser. In June of 1955 he married Lois Donath. They had two children Angela Mrazek and Stephen Schlosser. He later married Velma Peplow and they were husband and wife for over thirty-seven years. She preceded him in death along with his parents, and his son, Stephen Schlosser.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Mrazek, one step-son, Robert J. Stanley, one sister, Helen Cooksey, and one brother, Donald Schlosser.
Lloyd attended school and lived in Henry working as a Carpenter until August, 1952 when he was inducted into United States Army and was sent to South Korea in May of 1953. When he returned home he went to work for General Telephone Company where he worked for over thirty-two years.
Lloyd enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing music on his electric bass guitar, and traveling.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Henry at a later date.
