Lloyd Ray Thacker

He was born April 7, 1936 in Matthews, MO to Leroy and Esther (Warren) Thacker. He married Marian Hoffer on May 21st 1960 in Manheim, Pennsylvania. She passed away Oct. 23, 2015 in Peoria. He is also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Phyllis Colwell, one sister, Betty Jo Strawn, and his twin brother, Boyd Thacker.

Survivors include one daughter, Amy (John) Seifert of Edelstein, six grandchildren: Jennifer, Stephanie, Megan, Nicole, Danielle, Morgan, and nine great-grandchildren: Dakota, Banner, Stevie, Murphy, Saint, Ella, Isaac, Wayne and A.J. He is also survived by three sisters: Thelma Jean Buck, Nedra (Darrell) Notzke, Debbie (Archie) Pearson, one brother, Delbert Thacker, and one sister-in-law, Mary Jo Thacker.

Lloyd was a United States Air Force veteran serving from 1956 to 1960. He worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for over 30 years as a mechanic and inspector. He was a member of the Chillicothe Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 4999 and he was known as the man who could fix anything.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
