

She was born April 3, 1928 in Peoria to Alonzo J. and Carrie P. (McWilliams) Trent. She married William R. Cady on December 21, 1946 in Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three children, Robert, Terry, Joe; her son-in-law, Richard; 6 sisters and 5 brothers.
Surviving are her children, William (Roberta) Cady of Peoria, Richard Cady of Peoria, Clara (Brian) Hibbert of East Peoria, Val Cady of Peoria Heights, John (Polly) Cady of Mapleton, Connie Powell of Peoria, Mike (Brianna) Cady of Washington; 31 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild on the way.
Lola worked at Hiram Walker and other area companies. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Lola was a member of the American Legion Post #2, the 26 Club in Peoria as well as a member of the Eagles Lodge, and the Hiram Walker Rod and Gun Club.
Lola was a woman of Nazarene faith and a loving mother. She loved to play the piano and devoted herself to her children, grandchildren and others. She had a heart of gold and was willing to help even a stranger.
She loved all holidays and enjoyed decorating. She was a great cook and enjoyed life itself.
Funeral services for Lola will be 11 A.M., Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Craig Hislope will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M., Monday, at the chapel. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Association, Alzheimer’s Association or American Diabetes Association.
