Louise B. Coventry

Louise was born Sept. 27, 1921 in Decatur, IL to Clarence and Eva Roderick. She married John Robert Coventry in Decatur, IL on Dec. 19, 1940. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1980.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Roderick; 5 sisters, Virginia Van-Rheeden, Joyce Taylor, Helen Schuman, Betty Hensley and Dorothy Everly.

Surviving is her son, James E. (Christine) Coventry of Dunlap; 4 grandchildren, Robert (Debra) of Peoria, Christin Scherb of Houston, TX, Jasmine and Angelica Coventry of Dunlap; 2 great-grandsons, Ryan and Sean Coventry of Peoria; 2 great-granddaughters, Hailey and Ashley Scherb of TX; 2 sisters, Mary Hastings of Decatur and Eva (George) Reeise of Peoria.

Louise enjoyed golfing, traveling and volunteered at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL before moving into Lutheran Hillside Village.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at the Waters of Life Chapel at Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria with Pastor Paul Park officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour before services. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
