

She was born July 6, 1952 in Hermanville, MS to Louis and Sylvester (Williams) Singleton.
Surviving is her longtime companion of over 37 years, Willie Hamilton, her four children, Monica (Michael Pearson) Orr, John (Christina) Singleton, Kenny Singleton and Willie Singleton all of Peoria, two sisters, Helen Singleton and Eunice Compton both of Peoria, four granddaughters, Kennady, Jaela, Tatyana, and Jasmine; five grandsons, Kenny, John Jr, Jeremiah, Jaron and Kenyon, and one great-granddaughter, Ameriah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Mary attended Riverside Community Church and worked as a Bus Driver for District 150 form many years and then later as a Caregiver with the State of Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and loved to shop.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Robyn Latrice Stringer, and the Doctors and nurses at Unity Point Methodist for the extraordinary care they gave to Mary.
