I was saddened to see of Mike's passing, but I was so happy to read of Mike's love for the Lord...there will be no problems for Mike in heaven!  While I was not in touch with Mike through his adulthood, I have very fond memories of a sweet little boy with a wonderful smile.

This picture says it all. What a beautiful spirit he had. His smile was infectious and I will always be thankful to have been given a chance to work along side him. What great times we had re-decorating his pictures on his tray! Such a genuine soul he had. He will be missed.

I work for EPIC as a sub, and have for a few years now. I started subbing at Mike's house a couple of years back. I remember his smile as he "trained" me on how the house ran, and how to help him...his jokes, his love for his friends, his enthusiasm. When I stopped subbing at his house, I'd still see him in the morning sometimes as he was dropped off for work at Townline. I always said hi, and loved to see him smile or say hello back. I will miss him.

I didn't know Mike for very long, and yet still he had a profound affect on me. I began as a teacher of sensory education at EP!C a few months ago (right before it was EP!C), and when Mike caught wind of this, he began attending classes. His presence was always a welcome one, as he was always very engaging and interactive in the classroom, not to mention the fact that he had an uncanny ability to inspire the will to learn in other students (and he definitely had a way with words when it came to quieting a rowdy classroom!). He was a very, very bright student, and, whether he knew it or not, a teacher to me. I found myself often inspired by his strength in life and his passion for learning. His legacy will without a doubt continue to inspire others.

Mike's brother Jeff and I share Aunt Donna from different sides of her family. I just wish to send a very heartfelt hug to Aunt Donna, Jeff, and all of the Ringnesses. Your loss and your sadness are felt by many and we wish to be there for you as you grieve.

Mike was really fun to work with. He liked to sing to christian music on his radio in the morning when i was getting him ready for work. Mike will be missed. Heavens gain is our loss.

I loved to listen to Mike sing his Christian music every morning! He truly loved God and loved his EPIC friends and his family. He loved the Cubs and being a Cardinal fan we teased each other often. He would always say "I love ya, anyway" I will miss you Mike and I love you too!

I have worked with Mike since the first day he came to PARC he always had a smile when ever I saw him and happy to see that I was working at his house when ever I got a chance to. Now he us our Angle looking down on us. Love and miss you.

Mike was such a joy to work with he always had a joke and a smile. I and all of our Ep!c family will miss his smile and warm spirit! You were loved Mike and now you are with our Lord.

Mike will never be forgotten! He was a great man, Always listened when he knew someone was upset and gave me a hard time just to get me to smile. Im lucky to have worked with such a wonderful person. To his family I'm so sorry for your loss. R.I.P Buddy. Love you!

Mike was a very awesome fellow! I started my EP!C (then PARC) adventure at his house about 4 years ago, and I was hooked. Even though working residential could be a hard job, Mike and friends made it a blast! He would calm me when he listened to his Sunday Church radio show. I would even listen to it on my days off. Mike had a way of reminding us to think of a higher power. We also shared many laughs. Our little inside jokes kept us on our toes, giggling together. I was lucky to still be a part of Mike's day when we ended up working together in the EP!C Hub (PATS) room. He will not be forgotten...this is true. My scrapbooks are full of his fun cards and notes...and so is my heart. His spirit was a big one and will live on.

I smile at the many Mike memories I have, and my eyes well with tears as I think about how much I will miss his smile at church.

Michael will live on in the hearts of many. He made my world a better place and I'm a better person having met him. You are with your Lord now Mike walking and holding his hand like we always talked about on our "walks" in the community. You will be missed.

Mike is going to miss me, staff and all people at PARC/EPIC and PATS ROOM/EPIC HUB. I went to St. Louis to see Cardinals game with Mike for 2007 PARC Vacation.

So sorry for the loss of this very special person in your family. Our prayers are with you.

We'll miss Mike so much at EP!C. He worked in our EP!C Hub program, earning a paycheck, by performing data entry work on the computer. Mike was proud of his great computer skills. But, more important than thinking about the skills Mike had--is thinking about what a kind and caring person Mike was. He always wanted to help out in any way he could. He had great empathy for anyone else who was sick or having a hard time. He would always take time out from his paid computer work to make get well cards, sympathy cards, etc. in order to comfort his friends. Rest in peace, Mike!

Mike will missed by so many people at EPIC.  Until I retired in July, I work with Mike in the EP!C Hub room every day.  He loved working on the computer and sending e-mail to his family as well as receiving letter and pictures of all his family.  Family came 1st with Mike.  He was a great guy.

So sad, I'm going to miss this guy. I had so much fun working with Mike in the EP!C Hub. Mike was funny and always seemed to be able to make me laugh. He was also a very caring person and loved helping others. Mike loved listening to Christian music and loved attending Bethany Baptist. My condolences to the Ringness family. He was a great guy!

Mike was the very 1st person I worked with at PARC and we were friends every since. He was a very caring, loving, and helpful man that I had the honor of learning so much from. He will always have a spot in my heart and will be missed by many.

I enjoyed every minute taking care of Michael, and being a friend. I will truly miss him. Loretta
