Michael Wayne Trent

He was born February 10, 1945 in Peoria, the son of Wayne and Mary Barlow Trent. He married Judy Ellington on August 12, 1967. He later married Barbara Bell on December 14, 2003. She survives.

Michael is also survived by four children from his first marriage to Judy Ellington: Deanna (Khaled) Monla of Bloomington, Angela (Brian) Dubiel of Ellington, CT, Jenny (Gerald) Brooks of Las Vegas, NV, Kimberli Trent of Peoria; and one son from a previous relationship, Michael (Janet) Kalb of Sebula, IA; two brothers, David (Sheryl Davis) Trent of Peoria and Gary (Norma) Trent of Taylor, MI; one half-sister, Brenda Weyrick of Peoria; one half-brother, Wayne Trent Jr. of Marquette Heights; 24 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Al Trent.

Michael retired from Caterpillar in 2012 after 32 years of service.

He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Michael was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 am Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. A prayer service will follow at 11:00 am. Rev. Alvin Riley will officiate.
