He is survived by: two sisters, Blanche Rentsch of Chillicothe and Betty Palladini of Peoria Heights; a son, Jeff (Heidi) Elkins of Orion; a daughter, Laura (Katie) Bewley of Moline; two granddaughters, Renee and Carley Elkins of Orion; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul worked at Caterpillar for 32 years where he retired as a Tool and Die Maker. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America and coached baseball for the Boys and Girls Club for many years.
Paul’s favorite past time was playing his acoustic guitars and enjoyed jamming with his friends and performing live in several small music venues in and around Peoria.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 9th from 1:30-4:30 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, Illinois.
