I worked with Ron for a few years prior to his retirement. I enjoyed our time together. He was devoted to his work and proud of his family. Glad I was able to visit one last time....same old Roegge.  He will be remembered.

I worked with Ron at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center- Ron was a kind man, took his work seriously and helped show me the ropes when I started working as a pharmacist.  

Favorite memories with Ron, he would say "Bless you" as I sneezed, and would say if you get to three, you get to go home- he soon learned I always sneeze in threes, and then proceeded to tell me to get back to work! 

A memory shared about Ron from one of our oncologists in Saint Jude- Ron kept paperwork for our investigational study meds for the kids on note cards- one day we had auditors visiting and there was Ron with his pocketful of crumpled up note cards- showing how he tracked the meds and then a spill happened of a medication in the pharmacy as they were talking and there comes Sister Donata in her habit, on her knees wiping up the mess! What a site!

Ron kept an old book of recipes for how to make certain meds for suspensions, IVs, etc- we of course over the years updated the "Ron" Bible, it still brings me a chuckle thinking about how so much has changed over the last 20 years!

Ron came to the hospital to visit during an appointment here, found me working in SJ and stopped to chat and say hello! It was a surprise, but so glad I got to see him in the past several months and share a smile!
