She was born January 17, 1925 in Swindon Wilts, England to Stanley and Rose Watts. She married Douglas Bush on September 8, 1951 in Swindon Wilts. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2007. Her parents also preceded her in death.
Surviving are their three daughters, Elaine (Joe) Atchley of Peoria, Sylvia (Steve) Kelley of Farmington and Trish (Matt) Szentes of Hanna City with whom she made her home; eight grandchildren, eight great-grand children with one on the way; one sister Doris Davison of Rigby, ID.; one brother, Fred (Peg) Watts of Washington, IL.; and her faithful four legged friend and companion Toby.
Rose and Doug immigrated from England aboard the Queen Mary in May of 1952 and settled in Farmington, IL where they raised their family. Rose loved to travel with her husband and family, Sunday dinners with the children and grandchildren and tending her flower garden. She was a talented woman who enjoyed knitting, sewing, and took pride in making clothing and even wedding dresses for her daughters.
Rose's request was for cremation with no service. Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton is in charge of arrangements.
