Rosie Nell Morris

She was born May 4, 1932 in Ralph, Alabama the daughter of James and Zettie Parham Leslie Sr. She married Robert Morris Sr. on August 3, 1991. He survives.

Rosie is also survived by one step-son, Robert (Diane) Morris Jr. of Peoria; a host of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; one brother, James Leslie Jr. of Robbins, IL; one sister, Mary Alice Cortez of California; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Leslie and step-daughter, Patricia Murray.

She was a unit clerk at Tinley Park Mental Health Facility until her retirement. Rosie was a self-employed cosmetologist for many years.

She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be at 11 am Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Northwest Baptist Church. Pastor Richard Springsteen will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
