Ruby Jane Nevils

She was born on June 3, 1938 in Green Ridge, MO to George and Grovie (Beaman) Nevils. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her brother-in-law, Charles Noack.

Surviving is her sister, Georgetta Noack of Peoria Heights; a nephew, Gregory Noack of Peoria Heights; two nieces, Cynthia (Jimmie) Stevens of Trinity, TX and Cheryl (Randy) Leach of Cleveland, TN; three great-nieces, Jenipher (Justin) Whitfield of Peoria, Alicia (Adam) Davis of Katy, TX and Samantha (Cody) Krueger of Bartonville; four great-great-nieces and three great-great-nephews.

Ruby worked for Illinois Bell for 33 years before retiring as a manager in 1990. She then went on to work as a clerk at the Book Emporium and then with the Hallmark Store.

Ruby was a member of the Peoria Heights Christian Church and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She enjoyed traveling, caring for her dogs and spending time with her family.

A graveside service will be at 11 am on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
