He was born Jan. 26, 1932 in Indore, India to Madho Lal and Kamla Choudhry. He married Sneh Gupta on June 4, 1966 in Jaipur, India. She passed away Sept. 6, 2010 in Jaipur, India. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters: Shiva (Prabhat) Mittal of Peoria, Neeharika (Vinay) Penmetcha of California, and four grandchildren Puja, Tanya, Yash and Arnav.
Santosh retired from the Indian Police Services (IPS) in India and was a recipient of the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service. He was an avid reader and a lifelong practitioner of yoga and meditation, and pursued an active interest in alternative medicine.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel followed by Hindu Services at 3:00 PM. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
