He was born Aug. 28, 1965 in Peoria to Roger and Bonnie (Potts) Brown. He married Jan Conner-Dill on Jan. 31, 1997 in Galena, IL. She survives along with Scott’s mother of Peoria, one sister, Vickie (Ford) Densmore of Arizona, one uncle, Bob (Frances) Brown of West Peoria, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister.
Scott was an Illinois State Graduate and was a member of ISU Alumni Association.
Scott was a Manager at the Peoria Kohl’s Department Store from 1991 until his illness in November of 2015.
He was a member of the Peoria Humane Society. He was an avid St. Louis Blues and Cardinal fan along with the Green Bay Packers.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be Sunday June 12, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Peoria Humane Society or the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
