Sharon Croy Thompson

Sharon Croy Thompson, 81, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on September 3, 1941 in Limestone Township, a daughter of Charles and Nellie (Croy) Scoles. Sharon married Larry Thompson on October 23, 1982 in Peoria. He survives.

She is also survived by her son, Roy Lee Lewis of Peoria; a daughter, Gloria Jean Haswell of San Diego, CA, grandson, Tobias (Irene) Haswell of San Diego, California; and her great-grandson, Oliver Haswell of San Diego, California.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and eight brothers and sisters.

She was a graduate of Limestone Community High School.

Sharon was the owner and operator of Mt. Hawley Mobile Home Park, LLC in Peoria. She loved gardening, floral design, baking, and cooking.

Sharon's funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Her visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the funeral home. An additional visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
