

He was born Sep. 3, 1952 in Peoria to Robert and Betty (Hernan) Brown. He married Julie Voegele May 25, 1974 in Peoria. She passed away May 27, 2012 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters: Carrie (Brian) Campbell of Peoria, Katie (Joe) Janovetz of Peoria, four grandchildren: Melanie, Zachary, Louis, Jessica, one sister, Barbara (Peter) Couri of Peoria, two brothers: Curtis Brown of Peoria, Keith (Peggy Sue) Brown of Peoria, his fiancé, Sally Groeper-Selman of Peoria, and his lifelong friend Andy Groeper of Metamora. Tim also welcomed with opened arms Sally’s three sons and eleven grandchildren and thought of them as his own.
He took special pride in his Godchildren. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all his friends. Tim never met a stranger and loved telling stories.
Tim worked in Sales for Dr. Pepper-Snapple & RC Cola for over 25 years. He was a proud member of the NRA. Tim was an avid fan of movies, classic Westerns, Frank Sinatra, and was especially proud of his GI-Joe collection.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be Saturday June 13, 2015 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
Tim will forever be our Superman.
