Vicki Zike

She was born to Eleanor “Pat” and Robert Weber on July 30, 1944. Vicki and Mickey Zike were married on June 9, 1963 at the Central Community Church in Mattoon.

Vicki was faithful to her God and her love for her family filled her life with joy. Her courageous battle with her health was strengthened through God’s Mercy and Love for her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, son, Brian Todd Zike, granddaughter, Kylie Sue Zike and one sister, Cindi Jane Weber.

Surviving are her husband, Mickey of Peoria, her father Robert Gail Weber, two sons, Chad E (Kelly) and Troy D. Zike both of Peoria, three granddaughters, Courtney L. Zike of Peoria, Jorden L. Zike of Champaign and Mckenzee K. Zike of Peoria, one great-granddaughter, Serenity Moore of Champaign. Also surviving are four sisters, Jackie (Jerry) Overton, Sallie (James) Daugherty and Christi (Mike) Diepholz all of Mattoon and Tami (Ron) Ashworth Lerna, IL, one brother, Richard (Marcy) Weber of Murphysboro, IL and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Vicki worked in the Insurance Industry for over 25 years with various agencies and as an owner and operator of her own business. After leaving insurance she worked as a secretary to the Principal of the District 150 Development Center from 1991 to December of 2005.

A funeral will be held Friday, June 24, 2011 at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Roger Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Parkview cemetery in Peoria.
