Virginia L. Behrens

Virginia was born January 1, 1922 in Peoria, the daughter of John and Anna Wagner Behrens.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Patricia Kiefer of Bartonville, Richard (Donna) Behrens of Washington, Barbara L. Craig of Germantown Hills, Linda Ingrassia of Phoenix, Cheryl Behrens of Washington, Janet (Chris) Myers of Pekin, Robert (Rita) Behrens of Mapleton, Peggy (Ron) Taylor of East Peoria, Michael (Kathy) Behrens of Peoria, Ann (Rick) Rodecker of Bartonville, and Laura (Marvin) Danner of Canton; and many great-nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Walter, William, Willis and Robert; one sister, Edna Marie; and three nephews, Tim, Tom, and Steve.

She worked in the office at Caterpillar for twenty-six years, retiring January 1, 1985.

Virginia was a member of St. Philomena Catholic church.

A funeral mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, 13, 2015 at St. Philomena Catholic Church. Father David Richardson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.
