Wanda M. Terry, 93, of Peoria, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home. She was born on July 13, 1925 in Hanna City, Illinois to Bert and Bessie (Morris) McBroom. She married Donald B. Terry on July 14, 1946 in Hanna City, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1999 in Peoria, Illinois. She is also preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
Wanda is survived by two children, Kathy L. (Charles) Schaeffer of Brimfield, Illinois and Stephen M. (Constance) Terry of Grandview, Missouri. She also has four grandchildren, Christopher (Erin) Peterson of Edwards, Illinois, Matthew Peterson of Marina Del Rey, California, Mitchell Terry of Eureka, Illinois and Nicholas (Kim) Terry of Metamora, Illinois. Wanda has two great grandchildren, Sasha and Rylee Peterson.
She worked several years at the Central Illinois Light Company. She was a member of the La Sertoma Club and Femmes Unir Club of Bartonville. Wanda was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church.
Private graveside services will be held Wednesday at the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. The Rev. Robert Debolt will officiate. Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel is handling arrangements.
