Will Turner Davis

Will was born in Sumner, MS, on December 25, 1941, the son of Zinnie and Ilee Davis. He married Mildred Curtis on April 19, 1988 in Peoria.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years; his children, Robert (Brenda) Davis, William (Terasa) Davis, Larry Davis, all of Chicago, Shante Gardner of Peoria, Jason Johnson and Jermaine Johnson both of MN; three step-daughters, Latecia (Jerome) May-Jones of Montgomery, AL, Latosha May of Peoria, and Lorraine (Lamont) Washington of Peoria; six sisters, Dorothy Davis, Doris Davis, Pearlene Davis, Linda Davis, Rosie Gordon and Zinnie Turner all of MS; six brothers, Robert Davis, John Nelson both of Peoria, George Davis, Larry Davis, Frederick Davis, and Andrew Davis all of MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Will was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers.

He was the supervisor of housekeeping at Zeller Mental Health until his retirement.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Elder Larry Cooper will officiate.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
