Suddenly as a result of an accident on Thursday, June 30th, 2011 in his 51st year. Andy, beloved husband of Carolee (nee: Sluys). Cherished father of Jessica, Trevor, and Brad. Loving brother of Gerry (Dionysia), John (Phakhanan), Casey (Laurie), Trudy McKay (Leith), Rita Harte-Maxwell (Paul), and Margaret Wuis. Dear brother-in-law of Pete Sluys (Elsie), and Mike Sluys (Liesbeth). Son of the late Cornelis and Johanna Wuis (nee: van Weelden). Fondly remembered by twenty six nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Andy was a quiet man and well respected both as a friend and in the business community. He touched many lives with wisdom and his generosity. Resting at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME ‘MEMORIAL CHAPEL’ 539 George Street N. in Peterborough, on Wednesday from 1:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service to Celebrate his Life will be held at Cephas Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, July 7th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Ken Ritsema officiating.
