

Retired employee of CGE after 43 years service and WW II Veteran Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders. Predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy (Pearson 1998). Will by sadly missed by his daughters Arlene (Jack Kuipers), Betty Blodgett and Nancy Mason. Dear grandfather of Kevin Blodgett, Tracy Blodgett, Trevor Kuipers (Hershi), Travis Kuipers (Donna) and Laura Gates (Jaden). Proud great-grandfather to Beth Leigh, Ashley Blodgett, Hannah Blodgett, Sierianna Gates, Avery Kuipers, Ariah Gates and Maya Kuipers. Predeceased by his sisters Connie (Vern Harnden) and Dorothy (Alf Daniel, Jerry Preister). Brother-in-law to Richard Pearson, Reg Bennett (Margaret) and Ivan Pearson and predeceased by all brothers-in-law. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews and their extended families. Predeceased by his parents, John Sidney and Alice Rose Mason. Visitation will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 52 will hold a legion service at 6:45 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 1040 Hilliard Street on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Mary Bell-Plouffe will officiate. Interment Little Lake Cemetery. If so desired, in Albert’s memory donations to St. Barnabas Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
