Alexander James Thomson

He is survived by his Children: Kathleen Thomson (Cindy), Randy Thomson, Christine and Doug Gardner, Doug Thomson (Vikki); Grandchildren: Josh (Miranda), Jessica, Cassy (Scott), Jake (Jess), Gabby, Travis, Becky (Jeremy), Jennifer; and Great Grandchildren: CJ, Caleb, Eevie, Gavin, Jack. Beloved Brother to Sheila Cairns, Sherry and Steve Humbal. Predeceased by his parents, Sheila Myrtle and Alexander Gordon Thomson. He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Alex (also known as Sandy, Dad, Papa and Grandpa) was a man of unshakable strength, determination and stubbornness, unless our Mom asked him to decorate the house for whatever holiday was coming up next. He couldn’t say no to her. His wisdom and knowledge of all things mechanical or electrical will be greatly missed. I think if he could have, he would have built himself a Tardis (Dr Who) to time travel or maybe get on the U.S.S. Enterprise (Star Trek).

Dad gave us the love of learning how to fix things and of music! He was a skilled guitar player back in the day. So many cherished memories that we will keep in our hearts.
