GARVEY, Ambrose – Peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on April 20, 2012 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Annastasia McCarthy (1996). Dear father of Merle and her husband Paul Foster of Thornhill, Nancy and her husband Sam Wood of Douro and Jim and his partner Diane of Fife’s Bay. Son of the late James Garvey and Elizabeth Hennessey. Brother of the late Joseph, Edward, Marie and Gerard Garvey. Friends are invited to call at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME ‘MEMORIAL CHAPEL’, 539 George Street N., on Monday, April 23rd from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anne’s Church, 859 Barnardo Avenue, 1:30 p.m. Reverend William Moloney officiating. Interment St. Martin’s Cemetery Ennismore. In memory of Ambrose, donations to Covenant House (Dad’s favourite charity) or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
