Ann Carmen Attard

Our beloved Mother, Nana and dear friend Ann Attard passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family on December 15th 2022. Ann lived a wonderfully vibrant life and is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Fred Attard.

Devoted Mother and inspiration to her children Terry and Linda and her husband Mike Belsey. Cherished and loving Nana to Samantha and her fiancée Brandon Perry, and Madeline and her husband Jesse Gregory. She will be with her close family once again, Mary and Tony, Lina and Sam, Judith and Salvo, and Charlie and Salvina. A special Aunt to Ben Attard (deceased) and wife Beth and their children Mike, Chris and Michelle, Rose Garrard and husband Russ and their daughter Lauren, and Paul Attard and wife Tami and their children Ben and Lina. Ann treasured her extended family and friends in Malta where she was born and raised.

Ann was passionate about many things, her family being the most important. Ann was well known for her love of gardening, her role within St. Anne’s Church and her many years with Canadian General Electric. Ann and Fred were inseparable, enjoying their life together full of travel, caring for their beautiful home and making memories with their family.

Ann’s family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to the Angels from Kawartha Home and Health Care in partnership with the HISH program, Nurse Samantha and the Community Paramedics who visited Mom regularly. A special thank you to the Palliative Care team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. You were all such a special part of Ann’s journey.

On December 29th 2022, a visitation will be held at St. Anne’s Church, 859 Barnardo Ave, Peterborough from 10am until time of Funeral Mass at 11am. Friends and family are welcome to join us afterwards for a reception celebrating Ann at Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough from 1pm to 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations are warmly welcomed to St. Anne’s Church in Peterborough.
