Mrs. Arlone Patricia Cain Hewitt

Peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the age of 81 years. Loving mother of Susanne Hewitt and her husband Rick Chan of Barrie, Carole Batten and her husband Bill of Cavan, and Michael Hewitt and his partner Colleen of Peterborough. Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Clara (nee Ferren) Cain. Beloved sister of Dorothy Deck (late Al), Jean Smith (late Ron) of Lakefield, Bernard Cain and his wife Ann, Sam Cain and his wife Barbara of Kinmount and Linda Cain. Predeceased by her sisters Agnes Page (late Al), Gladys (late Bob) Waudby and her brother Bob Cain (late Marilyn). Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Jordynn Chan, Alex and Morgan Batten, Brittany and Chad Hewitt. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by numerous close friends. An avid bowler for over 60 years, Arlone was also a long time YMCA member. Special Thank you to the Dialysis Unit at the PRHC, many thanks to all the nurses that took such good care of our mom, also thanks to the staff on 6th floor and the palliative care ward. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME, 356 Rubidge St., on Friday from 2-4 and from 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10:00 am. In ST. ALPHONSUS CHURCH, 1066 Western Ave. Interment at Highland Park Cemetery to follow. Donations to PRHC Dialysis Unit would be greatly appreciated.
