BURNS ‘Betty’ M. E. (nee Harle) – Retired secretary from Hunt Brothers. Avid golfer. Long-time volunteer for Heart & Stroke Foundation. – Peacefully, on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in her 91st year. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Paul Burns for 43 years. Loving mother of Linda Jazwinski (husband David). Dear grandmother of Jacob Paul. Sister of the late Gordon Harle, Bill Harle and Dothory Welford. She was loved and will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, in the Chapel, on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 1 pm with visiting one hour prior (noon – 1 pm).
