NELSON, Beverly June (nee Henry) – Bev passed away unexpectedly while visiting family on Friday, October 8, 2021 in her 85th year at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Dearly loved wife of Jack Nelson for 42 years. Cherished mother of Suzanne Covert (Don), Jill Tucker (Brian), Daryl Taylor (Heather) and step-mother of Ralph Nelson (Cheryl) and the late Jacqueline Burke (survived by Steve). Proud Grandma to 16 grandchildren and Gigi to 15 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Glenn Henry (Ann), Lyn Giard (Bob) and the late Gary Henry. The family will receive friends at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in half hour segments (by reservation only – Comstock-Kaye at 705-745-4683 or go to https://signup.com/go/mnBcQiw ). Attendees must wear a mask and socially distance. Bev’s family will celebrate her life in a private family service. Though the funeral service is by invitation only, friends are invited to view the service by livestream at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 through the Comstock-Kaye website.
