Muro, Blaine Alexander; Passed away suddenly on Thursday November 23, 2023 at the age of 57. Beloved spouse of Kimberly Anne Gilchrist. Best loving father of Payton Muro. Cherished son of Clara and John Muro. Adored brother of Tracy Muro. Son-in-law of Sandy and Rick Gilchrist. Brother-in-law of Ron Gilchrist. Uncle of Taryn and Trent Gilchrist. Blaine will be remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by his furry friends “Willow, Sage & Freya”. Blaine was the Operations Manager at Manulife/Jones Lang LaSalle for many years. He was known for his love of the outdoors, from kayaking, canoeing, snowmobiling, camping, as well loved playing basketball, hockey, volleyball and numerous other sports in his younger years. The family has made private funeral arrangements with COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough. A public Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kawartha Land Trust or Friends of Ruby (2SLGBTQIA and youth support).
