Brian Douglas Green

Passed away at PRHC after a long illness, September 29th, 2021, aged 49 years. He was the son of Mary Henry (the late Wally), and the son of the late Bill Green (Lori Pettersone); brother of Allan (Catherine Donnelly); step-brother of Craig Henry (Kathy) and Graham Henry (Karen Shearer).

Brian always cheered for the underdog. After a near catastrophic head injury, Brian worked hard to put on a brave face to the world. Against all odds, he was able to recover and lead a life with many varied interests. He was a kind, sensitive and compassionate man who enjoyed quiet times with friends and family, and loved spending time in nature. He was a fan of snowmobiling, ATV-ing, kayaking, and swimming. Tree maintenance kept him busy for years. The many woodland creatures surrounding his home will sorely miss his daily attention and provisions.

His family and friends will deeply miss Brian's capacity to care deeply, if quietly, about the things important to him; his knack for finding the perfect Christmas or Birthday card (even if it took him more than an hour to do it); his dry and sarcastic sense of humour, and his never ending quest to find the perfect hot sauce, to mention just a few of the many traits that made Brian who he was.
