On Friday, October 10th,2008, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Gertrude, father of Peter (Lucy), Robert (Jennifer) and John (Suzanne). Grandfather of Maggie, Emily, Jake and William. He is survived by his brother John and sister Jean (Bill Peake). Predeceased by wife Louise (1986), sisters Isabel and Miriam and brother Bill. A veteran of the Merchant Marine, Charles retired from General Motors Scarborough Van Plan in 1979 and enjoyed retirement in Omemee, Ontario. Family and friends are invited to attend the internment at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road in Scarborough on Saturday October 25 at 11:30 am. Reception will follow.
